I thought it was really moving. I loved it. Although I haven't bought it, yet. :P In my oppinion even though it was 'R' for violence, it still was mild compared to the real thing.

I liked it, violence and all. I however was not moved like a lot of people were, but that's cool. I wont buy the dvd until they rerelease it with extra's. I am not wasting 20 bucks on just a movie alone, at least give me some trailers, sheesh, no commentary by Gibson either. That would have been great. Any way I did like the movie and I recommend The Last Temptation of Christ as another great Jesus flick to watch. Forget the controversy it too was a great flick, far less violent but great non the less. (I like violent movies in case you didnt notice, hehehe) ;D

Yeah, I like trailers, too. I'm also partial to deleted scenes & behind the scenes. :)

Well as you know they are rereleasing it to theatres under the name The Passion Recut (haha recut thats funny) according to Mel himself the film is about 5 or 6 minutes shorter eliminating the more graphic scenes but keeping some other graphic scenes in tact. So Mel just edited out a few scenes, big deal. It's gonna be in theatres again on march 11 the recut (hehe) version anyway. Well in my opinion I think the trying to spread the "word" excuse is lame, he just wants more money. The revenue from the old theatrical release and the current dvd release not to metion the inevitable Recut dvd release and revenue from the new theatrical release will be/is alot. He made all his money back and more when it was originally released, so now he will make even more money. Oh well. I will see the recut version anyway as for some strange reason I liked the movie (though I was and never will be "moved" by it since i couldnt give a d**n about christ anyway, never have never will like the dude,no matter what he went thru)

the movie was sad and even though I wasnt really touched by it I was inraged by those danm jews and wat they did to him, and the reasons they did it were pethetic and we all have to realize that wat really happened to jesus was 100 times worse and if they made a movie of wat really happened and mel gibsons form of it the comparison would be a rating of G for mel gibsons and a rating of R for wat really happened
